SMS Text Messaging Alerts
We have the facility to send reminders to patients for appointment reminders, invitations to attend for review and monitoring, who have given us their mobile telephone number and their consent:
The service is free of charge.
It is your responsibility to maintain the safety of your mobile to avoid anyone else being able to access SMS (text) sent to you.
If you change your number, lose your mobile phone or no longer wish to use this facility, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.
You need to complete a consent form in order for this to happen. These are available from reception or you can print one out here and drop off at the surgery (a signature is required).
